BMSTC Goals & Projects for 2007 . . . . .
- Acquire the proposed 3771-acre Mt. Emily Recreation Area -- the Best
Trails in Northeast Oregon.
- In cooperation with the city of La Grande and Union County, establish
a singletrack trail and public easement from La Grande to Morgan Lake.
- In cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service, establish a non-motorized
singletrack mountain bike trail and cross-country ski route on the Wallowa-Whitman
N.F. from Dutch Flat to Anthony Lakes Resort via the designated Anthony
Creek-Bear Butte route.
